Invitation for Papers

The Transition of Nursing Education in Hong Kong: Issues and Concerns

The Hong Kong Society for Nursing Education will publish a book to commemorate its 16th Anniversary in 2002. With the closing of the hospital-based nursing schools and the transition of nursing education to tertiary institutes, the Editorial Board has chosen the above theme for our book. We would like to invite all nurses to submit papers to discuss the issues and concerns arising from this historical change in nursing education in Hong Kong. Nursing colleagues may share their feelings and responses to the change. Photographs of historical values are also welcome.

Manuscripts should conform to the uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to the American Psychological Association. Both original and authorised articles are welcome and the contributor will be requested to forward a written authorization to publish the manuscript on acceptance. All manuscripts could be written in either Chinese or English and would preferably be submitted in an electronic format via e-mail (using Microsoft Word or ASCII text format, PC or Macintosh) to Ms A. M. Wong, Coordinator of the Editorial Board, Hong Kong Society for Nursing Education, at amwhk@netvigator.com, or in a floppy disc sent by post to P. O. Box 98898 Tsim Sha Tsui Post Office, Kowloon. Please also provide your contact phone number, e-mail address and fax number for further contact.

For enquiry, please contact Ms Anne Maire Wong on 9163 7800 or Dr Sheila Twinn on 2609 8163 respectively.

Deadline for submission of paper: 30th September, 2001
Maximum number of words: 3000
